New Book: Why Work? How the Federal Entitlements and Tax Systems Equalize Income and Wealth

Along with Jonathan Godbey, I recently self-published “Why Work?  How the Federal Entitlements and Tax Systems Equalize Income and Wealth.”  It can be purchased on Amazon for $7.99.  The jacket is provided below.  The book explains all of the major federal entitlements and also explains how making more money can reduce a person’s standard of living (because of loss of entitlements and tax benefits).  A large percent of the U.S. population has household income between $15,000 and $50,000, and households on the lower end of this spectrum often have a higher standard of living than persons on the upper end of the spectrum.  My co-author, Jonathan Godbey, Ph.D. in Finance, is a professor of finance at Georgia State University.
